Muslims believe Muhammad was sinless but ahadith state that Muhammad needed to ask for forgiveness and he needed to repent. Hatun and Daniel ask why? What did he do that meant he needed to repent?
Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah’s Apostle saying: “By Allah! I ask for forgiveness from Allah and turn to Him in repentance more than seventy times a day.” Sahih al-Bukhari 8:75:319
Al-Agharr al-Muzani, who was one amongst the Companions (of the Holy Prophet) reported that Allah’s Messenger said: There is (at times) some sort of shade upon my heart, and I seek forgiveness from Allah a hundred times a day. Sahih Muslim 35:6522
Al-Agharr al-Muzani who was from amongst the Companions of Allah’s Apostle reported that Ibn ‘Umar stated to him that Allah’s Messenger said: O people, seek repentance from Allah. Verily, I seek repentance from Him a hundred times a day. Sahih Muslim 35:6523
Hatun and Daniel question Islamic tradition on how a sinner and a curser also be intercessor? Islamic tradition teaches a curser cannot be intercessor, yet Muhammad cursed..
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger as saying: It does not seem proper for Siddiq that he should be an invoker of curse. This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Kuraib with the same chain of transmitters. Sahih Muslim 32:6280
Umm Darda’ reported on the authority of Abu Darda’ as saying: I heard Allah’s Messenger as saying: The invoker of curse would neither be witness nor intercessor on the Day of Resurrection. Sahih Muslim 32:6283
Abu Huraira reported it was said to Allah’s Messenger Invoke curse upon the polytheists, whereupon he said: I have not been sent as the invoker of curse, but “I have been sent as mercy.” Sahih Muslim 32:6284
Godwin discusses Muhammad’s marriage to Aisha (age 6, consummated when she was 9), and more disturbing evidence of Muhammad’s behaviour…
Musnad Ahmad 16245—[Mua’wiya said]: I saw the prophet sucking on the tongue or the lips of Al-Hassan son of Ali, may the prayers of Allah be upon him. For no tongue or lips that the prophet sucked on will be tormented (by hell fire).
Lizzie talks to Muslims about about ‘Seal of prophets’ in the hadith. Apologies for the poor audio in the first half of the video.
Narrated As Saib bin Yazid:My aunt took me to the Prophet and said, “O Allah’s Apostle! This son of my sister has got a disease in his legs.” So he passed his hands on my head and prayed for Allah’s blessings for me; then he performed ablution and I drank from the remaining water. I stood behind him and saw the seal of Prophethood between his shoulders, and it was like the “Zir-al-Hijla” (means the button of a small tent, but some said ‘egg of a partridge.’ etc.)
Bukhari 1:4:189 Narrated As Saib; My aunt took me to Allah’s Apostle and said, “O Allah’s Apostle! My nephew is ill.” The Prophet touched my head with his hand and invoked Allah to bless me. He then performed ablution and I drank of the remaining water of his ablution and then stood behind his back and saw “Khatam An- Nubuwwa” (The Seal of Prophethood) between his shoulders like a button of a tent. Bukhari 7:70:574
Hatun and Godwin discuss whether Muhammad really is the ‘seal of prophets’ – and discover some disturbing details along the way.

Godwin questions a Muslim on the reliability of the Qur’an given Islamic tradition teaches Muhammad had a bad memory.
“A’isha reported that the Apostle of Allah heard a person reciting the Qur’an at night. Upon this he said: May Allah show mercy to him; he has reminded me of such and such a verse which I had missed in such and such a surah.” (Sahih Bukhari 6:61:556; Sahih Muslim 4:1720)
Hatun and Godwin ask if Muhammad was the best husband to his wives as the ahadith state : “It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that: the Prophet said: “The best of you is the one who is best to his wife, and I am the best of you to my wives.” Ibn majah 3:9:1977
Muhammad b. Qais said : … ‘A’isha said: When it was my turn for Allah’s Messenger to spend the night with me, he turned his side, put on his mantle and took off his shoes and placed them near his feet, and spread the corner of his shawl on his bed and then lay down till he thought that I had gone to sleep. He took hold of his mantle slowly and put on the shoes slowly, and opened the door and went out and then closed it lightly. I covered my head, put on my veil and tightened my waist wrapper, and then went out following his steps till he reached Baqi’. He stood there and he stood for a long time. He then lifted his hands three times, and then returned and I also returned. He hastened his steps and I also hastened my steps. He ran and I too ran. He came (to the house) and I also came (to the house). I, however, preceded him and I entered (the house), and as I lay down in the bed, he entered the (house), and said: Why is it, O ‘A’isha, that you are out of breath? I said: There is nothing. He said: Tell me or the Subtle and the Aware would inform me. I said: Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be ransom for you, and then I told him (the whole story). He said: Was it the darkness (of your shadow) that I saw in front of me? I said: Yes. He struck me on the chest which caused me pain, and then said: Did you think that Allah and His Apostle would deal unjustly with you? … (Sahih Muslim 4: 2127)
Daniel and Hatun discuss the sentencing of the Oxford rape gang members and ask what it has to do with Islam?
O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful. – Sura 33:59
Allah doth wish to lighten your (difficulties): For man was created Weak (in flesh). – 4:28 (Y. Ali)
There is no original sin in Islam – but in that case, how come Muslims are no longer in the Garden of Eden? And why is the doctrine of original sin hinted at in Islamic sources?
‘If God were to punish men for their wrong-doing, He would not leave upon the earth a single beast; but he gives them respite until a stated time; and when their time comes they cannot put it off an hour, nor can they bring it on.’ (Sura 16:61, Sura 35:45)
The Prophet said, “When any human being is born, Satan touches him at both sides of the body with his two fingers, except Jesus, the son of Mary, whom Satan tried to touch but failed, for he touched the placenta-cover instead.” www.sunnah.com/bukhari/59/95.
A Christian asks; what’s the benefit of 72 virgins?
s 56:35-37: We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation. And made them virgins, Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age
Tirmidhi 3:20:1663: the Messenger of Allah said: “There are six things with Allah for the martyr. He is forgiven with the first flow of blood (he suffers), he is shown his place in Paradise, he is protected from punishment in the grave, secured from the greatest terror, the crown of dignity is placed upon his head – and its gems are better than the world and what is in it – he is married to seventy two wives along Al-Huril-‘Ayn of Paradise, and he may intercede (save) for seventy of his close relatives.” (from hell) (Hasan)
